About Us

Grange Accounts was formed in 1989 to provide bookkeeping and accountancy services, mainly to businesses and small traders located in Gravesend and North Kent. Gaining a strong reputation the business moved to Stone Street, Gravesend in 1995, merging in 2002 with another local practice, and still maintaining links to the Chiswick office of Bryan and Ridge, Chartered Accountants.

Although most of our clients are local, Grange Accounts also acts for clients throughout the UK, some having been with us from the start, ranging from small self-employed businesses to Limited Companies, to private individuals with rental income or other more particular financial affairs.

Staff

Tina Barnett

Tina joined Grange Accounts in 1989. Office manager for 15 years Tina is largely responsible for the relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the office. Qualified and specializing in all tax aspects she has developed excellent working relationships with our clients. She is committed to high standards and gently pushes other staff members to achieve targeted goals. Tina loves being creative in her free time, making cards and decorating her home which she shares with her long term partner Darren, who she married in 2004.

Sara Catt

Sara joined Grange Accounts in 2005 and after completing a two week work experience she started to work one day a week while at college studying for the AAT. After finishing her intermediate year in July 2005 Sara joined us full time and has since passed her exams and qualified in 2006, she is a bright young lady with a big future in front of her.

Sara is a lively and friendly member of the team and the person you are most likely to speak to first when you telephone. She enjoys clubbing with her friends in her spare time.

Allison Pickering

Allison started in November 2005 and works part time. She is a part qualified ACCA accountant. Allison loves to be busy and always puts 100% in to everything she does. She likes to complete her work to the highest standard and as quickly as possible. Allison is a great asset to Grange Accounts. Allison is also a devoted mother of two young children. In her spare time she likes to play badminton and read.

Darren Humphreys

Darren is our newest member of the team. He is currently studying for his AAT qualification and is progressing very well. Darren is our administration clerk and our payroll clerk. Darren interests are heavy metal music and has played in a band.
